ABOUT
Amy Parlette
Founder, Master Food Preserver
Hi, I'm Amy -- former fast food and retail executive and current slow food advocate. After preserving food for more than 20 years, I took the leap to teach others how to make the most of fresh, local produce.
I earned my Master Food Preserver Certification from Utah State University in 2023 and founded The Suburban Homestead later that year. I’m looking forward to expanding to include additional classes, and eventually additional instructors.
I invite you to utilize our free resources on the blog and get in touch for a chat if you're interested in hosting a class or partnering to educate others.
